Post 6: ENGLISH LANGUAGE CHALLENGES

  What comments can you make about your experience learning English at university? What about the use of blogs? At least for me, at university I have learned different things, but almost everything I already know of the English Language is thanks to my high school teacher and what I have learned on my own. I have to give thanks to my high school teacher, She was very concerned about teaching us the right way. Although I must admit that this about blogs has been something completely new to me. I believe that this is a very good way of interacting especially in this period of pandemic. I think it was very useful to use social networks to learn in these online semesters. What aspects of your English need to be improved and how do you plan to do this? Post 5: CHANGES TO MY STUDY PROGRAM

   I really think that one of the things that the university should fix or change is the faculty infrastructure. Sometimes the classrooms are all busy or not very large. It is also very common to see that classrooms do not have the attachments that some teachers need. I believe that they should also change the way the system works, because in my case I have a late course, and due to schedule shocks with the courses I would have to take this semester I had to have two fewer subjects. About that, to me and to another 60 people passed us, and the university only said that they would not be able to open more courses for those subjects, that we should give the backlog only, so we will be one more semester in this career. The workload is also a problem, although teachers generally know that Taller takes a lot of time, some are disconsidered about that, say that, or it is their subject and things like that. Post 4: PERSONAL OPINION

  What is your opinion about women in the military?
 - I think that this is a good example of gender equality, they don’t discriminate against women being “the weaker sex”. I’d like to all people have the same rights and opportunities.
 What is your opinion about the Chilean politicians?
 - I honestly feel that Chilean politics are corrupt, at least most. A lot of them are not interesting in they people, in they citizens. Personally I don’t trust many of them, they are liars and the only things that are important for them are Money and Power. What is your opinion about violence on television? - From my point of view, the violence on television is not okay, but sometimes on TV there are shows or movies that show us the reality, in these cases the violence is “acceptable” while not in children’s hours, because it can affect them and it does them no good.
 What is your opinion about recycling?

Post 3: MY FUTURE JOB

 Actually, the kind of job I'd love to have is that of a singer. Since I was a child I've loved music, and I've always dreamed of being a singer. I can imagine it as the best work in the world for me at least. I would be fascinated to be able to live as a singer, because I would be doing something I love and sharing it with others. This type of work can be done in the same way outdoors as indoors. For example, performing concerts in stadiums, as well as in arenas. Besides, in the recording studios I would be indoors. Everyone knows that if you are a successful singer you can earn a lot of money. If I were, I would like to spend my money on a house, a house for my parents, a car and save on an account for my children's future. I would also travel a lot, on the tours around the world and all that. And I'd like to travel with my boyfriend, my parents and my siblings, and obviously with my best friend. Post 2: THE BEST CONCERT EVER

  This concert was on December 10th, 2019, and was in the Movistar Arena, Chile. The artist I went to see was Shawn Mendes. Shawn is a Canadian artist, He have 22 years old, and makes pop genre music. That was his first time in Chile. Near the time of entry to the place there were very long rows of people. Our place at the concert was listed so we arrived an hour earlier, and a friend made us pass until later from the row, where she was. Inside the place, we could only buy T-shirts and hats. We ate something and went to our seats. I was very excited that day, because it was the first concert of my life, and Shawn is also my favorite artist, so I enjoyed it to the fullest. One memory I have about this day is that I met a friend of the internet with whom we talked 2 years ago, so that also made it a very special day.
